On Aug. 20, 2024, hosts Dr. Wilmer Leon and Garland Nixon of Radio Sputnik’s “The Critical Hour” interviewed Haiti Liberté journalist and editor Kim Ives about the recent visit to Haiti of CARICOM’s “Group of Eminent Persons” to put pressure on the government to hold elections, among other things.
They also discussed the ammo shortage now facing the Haitian National Police, due, in part, to the wars in Ukraine and Israel/Palestine.
