the game is a strategic game in which three princes, representing britain, russia and turkey, are trying to escape from a cave full of monsters.
the game is a turn-based game with the player’s moves determining which monsters the princes will see next. the prince’s actions also have an impact on the map and the monsters. there are a lot of state specific rules and decisions you have to make. one of our top-down strategy games
the principles of the game are similar to other games of this genre, but there are a lot of details that make this game unique. the game has a large scale map and an explorable environment that changes as you progress through the game.
the game is in two modes: a turn-based mode and a real time mode. real time mode
in real time mode, you have a limited amount of time to complete your mission. so you have to be very careful about where you move and how you move. turn based mode
in turn based mode, you have a fixed amount of time to complete your mission. you have to plan your moves carefully, but you can plan for the long term.
the game has a large number of states. the number of states is not fixed. the states in turn based mode are not displayed to the player. the game only shows the state you are in. the player can only move to the next state by using a scroll wheel to move the map. map
the map of the game is the size of the screen. on the left you have the turf of the map. the left and right of the screen is the sky.
the map has three different layers. the top layer is the layer of the world. the bottom layer is the layer of the grass and the sky. the middle layer is the layer of the terrain. you can see the top layer in turn based mode, but you can not see the layers below the top layer. terrain
each layer has a set of tiles. the tiles represent the game terrain. each tile represents a certain region. you can only see the tiles that you select when you move to a new state.
you can only see the tiles to the right and left of the tile you are on. you can see a small amount of tiles on the top and bottom of the screen. the tiles that you can see are the tiles that are immediately adjacent to the tile you are on.
the top left tile is the tile of the start point. the tile on the right side of the top left tile is the tile of the target point. the bottom tile is the tile of the exit point. the tiles of the tile above and below your tile are the tiles of the destination state. tiles
the tiles in the game are able to move around and change their positions. the tiles are placed on the map on the layer of the ground. the terrain tiles are square. you can only move tiles on the layer of the ground.
the terrain tiles are the base tiles of the map.
one of my new years resolution is to read more, and i have made it a year now to read the bible, and i am still working on that one. i am going to do the same with theology books. i wish i had more time to read what i want to read. i think it will strengthen my faith, and it will also help me develop areas of my faith that i may be able to minister in. but, perhaps more importantly, it will help me develop my faith, since my question is what are the developments that i need to work on, because i would like to be as transformed as possible. i think there is always something that needs to change in our lives and in our congregations, and god has a unique plan for each of us. one of the areas that i think needs to change is my temper. i am always hearing about how god will change us when we give him a chance. but, when i look back, i do not see that it actually does me much good if i am miserable because of anger or bitterness or pride or how i feel about someone or something. i am just not happy. but, that is not really an area that i need to work on because i cannot do anything about that now. but perhaps i can control some of it with my attitude and my ability to converse with god, so that i can develop a better attitude and a better way to talk to him.
one of my favorite sola-scriptura christian theologians is john calvin, and in a passage from institutes of the christian religion, he gives some advice to the congregant who does not understand what is being told to him:
i love the description that john calvin gives of how god has given certain phrases and words to the people, so that we can get the message that we need. at the same time, those words have to be properly understood, not taken out of context, and not interpreted in some manner other than god intended. for example, in today’s message, king benjamin said that those of the south district are unprofitable servants, not because they were the poorest or because of their faith. it is because they were performing their duties. i think that calvin also gives a similar understanding to that, and i think the same can be said about serendipity.
