2. Description of the Related Art
A user equipment (UE) refers to an equipment to which a user has access. The user equipment can be the one that is a customer of a service provider or an equipment operated by the service provider. A UE can be, for example, a mobile station (MS), a personal digital assistant (PDA), a wireless modem, a smart phone, a laptop, etc. An access system can be, for example, a wireless local area network (WLAN), a cellular network, a code division multiple access (CDMA) system, a time division multiple access (TDMA) system, a frequency division multiple access (FDMA) system, a global system for mobile communications (GSM) system, a universal mobile telecommunication service (UMTS) system, a high speed packet access (HSPA) system, etc.
