KEYMACRO is a free desktop screensaver that runs in the background and allows you to use a keyboard sequence to activate any screensaver you want. Use the keyboard sequence you want to use, and the screensaver will then be activated by the keyboard sequence.
Get a KeyMACRO and your friends will notice the difference in your working style.
You can change the prompts on the screensaver in the keymacro setup wizard by going to the “Settings” page.
Add a prompt and define it, add a loop and have it repeat for a few seconds after your keyboard sequence is done.
You can then modify the keys you use to activate your screensaver.
Or use a different key sequence to make sure that your friends don’t get to see your message.
A KeyMACRO consists of a password and a set of keys.
To use a KeyMACRO, press Ctrl+Alt+K while your computer is awake to unlock the keymacro.
Use the popup dialog box to modify the password and choose your set of keys.
The “Create new keymacro” button will only appear if you have set some keys and if there are no matching KeyMACRO’s in your keymacro list.
KeyMACRO has a option to set the password by default when you create a new keymacro.
Please note that the password and key sequences must be entered in lowercase.
The example keymacro in the screenshots has the password “keym1” and the keys “c1o6a1s1v3”
You can find the example keymacro file named: “example.keymacro” on the installation path.

The keym1 keymacro is activated by c1 o6 a1 s1 v3 (a little flat note on the 1st and 4th key, to ensure that the user knows that the password is “keym1”).
You can add a password and a set of keys to your keymacro as described in the screenshots.
